Well, if u understand how good the light transmission of the Nikkor 24-70 F2.8 is, am sure u won't be needing the EXIF to explain why the output was like that..
What that comparison shows is that at the same settings, the Tank absorbs/transmits more light into the sensor thus the somehow less contrasty output as compared to the 50mm. The advantage of this is that u can have a higher shutter speed or lower ISO to achieve the same or even better output than the 50mm. And that faster shutter or lower iso is very helpful in getting a crisp/sharp image considering that the Tank is a heavy lens and no VR.![]()
