guyz, need your help napud. i tried to OC with this board using its built in OC utility which is the AI Suite. what happens is when i try to adjust the CPU frequency or anything perhaps kay mu shut down lang siya dayon dili mu change ang iya settings. what seems to be the problem? need help jud guyz kay sayang overclocking potential sa E6300 nako...

Always overclock using the bios.

i tried that pero di man ghapon. di ba jud ma adjust ang FSB multiplier sa intel core 2? 6 and 7 ra man pud cya sa BIOS nya pag reset, di pud cya mu overclock. but thanks for replyn.

First all do you understand how memory dividers and chipset strap works on Intel chipsets, second you can adjust the multiplier going down only and 6 being the lowest (AFAIK)

a better place to research about overclocking C2D's is at www.extremesystems.org just goto the Intel sub forums and read there.

in addition... it sounds like your rams are pushed beyond their limits when you try to adjust the frequency, so it wont boot and reset it to the last settings that worked.

i-set daan imo memory divider to lower frequency... or perhaps i-relax ang timings sa imo ram, para naa kay room to increase the frequency of you cpu. maaffected man gud na imo ram frequency inig increase nimo sa imo cpu frequency... and also, make sure nga naka lock ang imo pcie slot frequency.

There isnt a need to relax the timings yet he is running stock settings so that means the memory is at SPD settings DDR2-800 ( 400fsb) ready.

Ok heres something to try, set the CPU voltage no more than 1.4000, set the memory voltage to 2.10, then increase the CPU FSB to 400. if it fails ad 10% voltage to chipset volts.
