I would like to summarize the posts here as follows:

1. LytSlpr is Paco's foremost defender here. he contends that the ones (as in tanan?) jailed for the Chiong sisters rape case are all innocent and we have the real criminals still out there.

this is not my stand. i can only speak for paco. but if paco will be proven innocent, IMO there is a big chance makahig ang rest of the Chiong 7 because ma weaken man ang prosecution.

bro, I know you are damn so frustrated with the justice system and so are many people, i'm sure. we have a flawed justice system, no doubt. but in this case it has put most of the guilty guys behind bars, hasn't it? for that i would give the justice system a chance, some faith. the question really now is putting up enough evidence in favor of paco...but somehow what has been put out there is not--never--enough.

i'm not privy to paco-related matters and so i form my opinion from the information that is put out there and so far my impression has always has been that the people testifying for him may be credible, but not paco. most of you say that he may be criminally-minded but he would never commit rape or murder. HOW IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU KNOW? have you been to his mind? again, it's your faith on the testimonies of the people supporting him, testimonies found WANTING by the courts.

I am not frustrated to be honest with you . I dont even care because I am not subject to PHILIPPINE LAWS and REGULATIONS anymore . Though I renounced my citizenship , my heart knew where I belong .

The court didnt want the testimonies . Its not even a testimony of ONLY people who supports him but people who knew PACO didnt do it and people who I knew so closely selosan mi sa akong asawa .

YES .... criminals mind are only subject to PROVEN if GUILTY . Paco was misjudged because was NOT GUILTY .

kaning sa kaso ni paco, he is a suspect (aw guilty jud diay matud pa sa korte) because of many supporting factors: rusia's testimony, his ties with josman and company, and his not-so-good reputation. the only supporting factors in his favor are his alibi of being absent at the time of the crime and the people supporting that alibi who are nonetheless close family friends. i should say common kaayu nang iyang alibi. that's something gani the courts would always consider to be a very weak alibi. samutan pa jud nga mga close family friends ang ni suporta. i want to point this out:
**lytslpr claims he is not that close to paco, but he strongly claims "paco wouldn't do such a crime coz he is just too intelligent for the mess." --> logic is not sound, bro. you have never been to his mind. this is akin to a mother saying that his son just couldn't commit the crime because he's a sweet kid. both are forms of denial, and we know that denial refuses to see the existence some truth.

again, you may cry unfair "justice" here but remember that it has taken most of the guilty ones behind bars. si paco ra man kaha ang inyung gi sympatyahan diri, kaning silang josman and others guilty man jud kaha. so let's give the justice system some credit. for me it was fair and protective to society that the accused were suspects until proven innocent. dili ni basta basta ang gi akusar nila, we are talking about heinous crimes here.

so that's just how it is for paco and his camp. he is suspect/guilty until proven innocent.

lastly. some of you have mentioned "karma" and "justice". i will not be splitting hairs, but mao ra ni akong masulti: some people have this lifestyle of hurting others and getting away with it. but life has always a way of making you accountable for your sins. when that time comes, it's a waste of time crying "unfair!". just face the consequences and work your way to change, to repentance, to working on having a good character and reputation this time. i believe that when one does that, life will duly respond.

-i dunno how the court would give credence to rusia's testimonies, when he's no saint himself. correct me if im wrong, but didnt rusia admit to raping one of the chiong sisters? and when he turned state witness, thelma chiong was fawning over him? seeing those photos, it made me cringe.

-paco's witnesses were his close family friends---- geez. its a no brainer that you would vouch for ur friend's presence if it is to save him from the gallows, its given. credibility wise, mas credible man ang witnesses ni paco, over rusia's statement. obviously, rusia wanted to save his own a$$ first. for the court to favor that crack's testi is beyond me.

-paco's alibi was weak----ive given this a lot of thought, sure his defense/alibi was rickety, but hasnt it occured to anyone that it could be bec. that was just it, that he was just in manila? that he cant bilocate? apparate/disapparate? if i were paco, and i was in manila when the crimes happened, why would i give another alibi, say something plausible, and only for it to be investigated, and later on the courts will find out that i was just lying, thus further putting me in a bad light? paco's lawyers werent stupid...why stick to that alibi, when im sure, they could conceive a more brilliant defense than that? bec. he was really in manila! they were sticking to the truth, no matter how flimsy it was.
