Give the campaign some slack, I believe this may have been just a coincidence dyud.

Whether you like this new one or the previous ones, kanya-kanya opinon dyud and it's impossible to please everyone.

Anyhow at the end of the day - the question remains - what have you done to help promote the Philippines?

I don't know about you but people are paying taxes that most end up to the officials' pockets . Taxpayers has the right to criticize to any gov't agency since all their 'projects' came from their own earnings . Ikaw tomboya ka , wala pa ka kahibaw unsa ka paet mohatag kag kwarta sa government unya bulsahon lang . Gapataka na lang ug campaign ang tourism kuno aron lang jud maka access sa kwarta ... tsk3x ..

Like the Swiss use it some 50 years ago.Get over it.Hitler was not the first use the swastika.Jesus was not the first who utter "thou shall not do unto other what you don't want other to do unto you." So who cares about originality, Its like everything is a footnote to Plato.

This is just a slogan, if people are so divided and complaining even by this kind of thing its no wonder this country is not going anywhere.

I think "It more fun here in the Philippines" does makes sense, our Christmas is more fun our new year is way more fun. Filipinos knows how to laugh even in midst of something. What they say about laughter is its contagious.

How old were you people when the swiss ad was published? Even those who even thought of the idea probably were not yet born or were in their toddler years.

    So you do the math.

I hope there's more in store on that ad.
Because now a days WOW is most often than not is identified with World of Warcraft. We want to sell the Philippines, not some Blizzard created game.

Try googling the word Wow and try the same thing about "Truly Asia"

coincidence? might be. pwedi nga they just lacked the talent to search google if naa na bay nigamit ana nga slogan before.

gituyo? probably.. but the thing is, pwedi pod nga ila gigamit para madungog pod ang pilipinas (nga nanuhid ug slogan) hahaha then ma curious na dayun ang mga tourista ug nganung na issue ni dayun moanhi daun para i compare unsay naka chada sa pilipinas vs sa switzerland.

it is a win win situation. ato nlang ni dawaton. it's too early pa para i change balik ang slogan. heheh

it is lawyer Ted Te, who best articulates the moxie that will really make our new tourism slogan soar. Here’s Ted:

“In a way that perhaps those behind the line could not hope to imagine: it is the invitation to start a conversation with ourselves and those outside the Philippines; it is the opening of an invitation without an RSVP.

It is also a challenge to us, Filipinos, to look into ourselves, as citizens, as a people, as a culture, as a nation–to look at why, despite government inefficiency and corruption, stinky toilets and bad airports, mind-numbing traffic, poverty, homelessness, landlessness and, for some, hopelessness, it is more fun in the Philippines.

For me, it is our SMILES–those that start and end with our eyes. It is our HUMOR–that which allows us to giggle, snicker, snort, or belly-laugh our way through everything the universe may throw at us (and it has thrown a lot our way). It is the SONGS that we sing–those which express our spirit and our soul; whether these be songs of protest, songs of hope, songs of love or even, or maybe especially, that song which inevitably ends videoke sessions anywhere in the Philippines, “My Way”, it is the way that we invest ourselves into the songs that we sing. It is our SPIRIT–that which starts and ends bloodless revolutions and endures stupid governments and allows us to carry the hope that one day we will have meaningful change by Filipinos for Filipinos everywhere in the world. It is our SOUL–that which weaves passion and compassion together with love of God, country and people.

It is all these together that makes the difference.

In the way that “Wow, Philippines!” started the conversation but never got to finish it, this new campaign attempts to jumpstart that conversation in the same vein and invites us, who know and love the Philippines, to complete the sentence. And, that’s part of the fun.”

    kinopya lang gyapon sa switzerland.

i dont think nga coincidence lang kay imho pagtoo siguro sa mga taga dot nga dili na mapansin kay karaan man to nga slogan sa swiss.

its more fun in switzerland = nag rhyme...
its more fun in the philippines = makes little sense ^_^

maau pang gihimo nalang nilang "you get wider grins in the philippines" XD at least nag rhyme pod.
