No offense lang pero this question is one of those questions nga pointless. It's like asking, "Is the sky blue?" or "Is the Pope Catholic?"...LOL

murag lapis na way tahal...pointless.managmbot nlang jud ko aning politika sa atoa.

People are naturally greedy. It's only worse when politicians are greedy and also incompetent.
Lee Kuan Yew knew this, that's why he made sure that Singapore's system attracts smart but greedy people with salaries that equal the CEO's of top corporations. Asian meritocracy, instead of democracy, is becoming the de facto gold standard in politics for most Asian developing countries, such as China. It is a belief system that rejects western ideas of democracy in favor of Asian-style semi-democratic meritocracy.
The Philippines is an Asian country with Asian people that pretends to be a Western nation. That's why we have the most greedy and incompetent politicians in the world who only think about winning the next elections... If we want politics to work here, don't try to get rid of greed, instead create a system that attracts the brightest minds.
^^agree ko ani. Greed can be an asset if the correct system is in place. The Philippines uses the spoils system, similar to that of the U.S. (obsolete) system which leads to cronyism, and oftentimes, nepotism. A legalist coupled with a system of merits seems very suitable for the environment of Philippine politics.
