tsada bya ang LCD ky nindot sya og view sa internet cafe sa office and etc...pero pag moabot na ang time na magoba sya murag walay parts na available deri sa atong pinas...din wla pa pod ko nakadungog og naay mo repair sa LCD, whereas sa CRT bisan asa mapa repair nimo electronic services....mostly pod sa mga big company's na akong nakit-an ila gamit is CRT...i hope naka tabang sab gamay ko ninyo....

mga bro, im currently using a 17" crt monitor. ga plano ko ug buy 19" viewsonic lcd nga 8ms response time.

pero nahadlok ko nga basig mag basol ko. daghan mangud sulti nga mas chada ang crt for gaming. nya ako gaming mangud ako main use sa ako pc. para nako bahala na taas power consumption, what im concerned about is the gaming performance jud.

so, can anybody say nga if i buy 19" viewsonic lcd nga 8ms, di rako magbasol? gaming jud ako use sa pc.

Bro LCD compared to CRT mas nindot ang CRT mas pino ang pixels. Pero in terms of power consumption mas OK ang LCD. pero kung maguba sorry nalang jud ka... Even gani diri sa ako work place aircon then we are using HP na LCD monitors, duha na ang naguba. Ang mga CRT wala pa jud tawon sa Pentium 2 & 3 pa ni na panahon..... If you like to buy LCD monitors I would prefer DELL na LCD monitors ky so far tanan DELL diri sa ako work wala pa jud nangaguba.. Hope I could be of help.

I am using the Viewsonic V1912W wide screen ni sya. nindot sad kaayo, cozzy sya at the same time spce saving, no eye strain, and power saver. Wala ko magbasol, for gaming cool ra sad, an 8ms compared to 5ms is not really noticeable.

Mga bro, kanang 50,000.00 hours sa lcd... Is that hours nga naka turn on ang lcd or hours sugod sa pagpalit?

If hours nga naka turn on, ok ra para nako ang 50,000.00 hours coz ako gi compute:
If I use it 24hours a day, it will last for about 5.7yrs
If I use it 12hours a day, it will last for about 11.4yrs
If I use it 6hours a day, it will last for about 22.8yrs (i use my pc about 6hrs a day)

Ok ni imo computation sa iya lifespan bro, pero naa pay ubang factors nga maka affect sa performance ug lifespan sa imo LCD. One is ang ventillation sa imo room nga gibutangan sa LCD if init siya mas madali ang life span ana. 2nd if ang imo adjustment sa Contrast and Brightness taas pirme usa pod na sa maka degrade ug dali sa iyang mga components. Usa sa dali madaut sa LCD mao iyahang back light. Naa uban nga ang backlight niya replaceable pero uban naka attach gyud sa whole assembly sa unit. Dali pod madaut ang inverter sa ubang brands.

I agree also with dreed41v576, he is right on those aspects, better set your LCD to its normal setup, like using its auto adjustment feature.

gusto unta ko palit LCD kana lang 17 inches. unsa kaha maayo nga brand? if ako budget 10k-11k ra? di gani 15" lang. ty
