Some think that Manila Kingpin will attract more viewers now that it won a lot of awards.
Remember Mano Po nine years ago? That film was not a top grosser until after it won many awards in the MMFF that year. Mano Po went on to be the #1 film in terms of ticket sales of the MMFF 2002 with over P67 million.
