I would like to add a simple explanation how to freshen up the air.

By nature, air is fresh already but due to contaminants from different sources like combustion engines, decaying matter or any sources that produces chemicals that mixes with air - air becomes not fresh to breath anymore. To make it fresh again is to reverse the process, remove the contaminants. Now, is adding more chemicals in a form of scent from products claiming as air fresheners can make the air fresh again? I think you now know the answer.

On a similar manner, to solve the problem of "kalat ng basura" on your front yard is to simply remove it from your front yard and not by covering it by another form of basura claiming to look pleasing to your eyes. Now, when we can stop the source of the basura then that's the ultimate solution.
