PCI-e modular Cables

Naa lang ta ko question. I have a predicament... I recently decided to use my old ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT to power up a new project. Karon, nakabantay ko nga nawala ang mga PCI-e cables niya.

So, nipalit kog mga PCI-e 6pins to 6pins PCI-e modular cables from a local shop. Ang problema kay murag dili musakar ang PSU-end sa cable towards its socket; ang PCI-e end sa modular cable kay sakar ra sa Videocard. Ako g.check, ang PCI-e end musakar man sad sa PSU-end. Ing.ani ang itsura sa akong cables nga napalit...

Enermax Liberty Modular Sockets (Red = PCI-e sockets)

Ang akong pangutana, pwede bah ko mupalit og ordinary "PCI-e" end nya akong i."Macgyver" (tangtangon nya itaod ang new plug) sa PSU-end sa modular cable? Dli ra bah na makadaot sa power flow? Ang plug ra man akong ilisdan para musakar sa PSU. Thank you.

Naa mo idea ani, Bros? Kung pwede ra bh ko mupalit og PCI-e head and take out the head of the modular cable and plug it in?

i think there is no problem with the power flow as long as there would be a continuity between your cables from your PSU to your mobo/vcard etc...

I think I'll try to experiment with this one. In theory, it should be alright...

Going to get my paper clips and rip one end off.. :v
