Thanks for your interest in Aquaponics..Yes, love to share..This is how I made it.

I used 1" pvc pipe of 10" long and put DIY funnel on the other end.Funnel is optional.Empty 1.5L Sprite bottle serve as guard for the siphon effect. Or you can use 3" or 4" pvc pipe instead and put end cap on top. BYW, dont forget to put water passage on the other side. So this is how it look.





Plastic trash bin as strainer.





Placed it inside the pale.





And cover it with a strainer.

mga more or less 7K guro sir..wala nku na account gud...kay nadala ko sa ako ka excitement sa ako project..pero sulit ra man kay hobby lng ba...pawala sa stress after work. love farming man sad gud.

Ahm, na mn gd ko aquarium sa dipolog then nakatry ko sauna kanang continuous ra nga flow then wa kau niwork ky wa kau sunlight so now, itry nko convince akong papa ibalhin nkog location tong aquarium haha ako plan gamiton ky flood n drain na ky murag dali r mn dy himoon hehe sauna nglisod mngd kog sabot s pghimo hehe

Ask lng ko question kay medyo concerned ko sa electric bill, i know the air pump should be on at all times. but not sure with the water pump if on ba ni cya 24/7 or mga pila ka oras lng i on just to water the plants. im planning to start this hobby early january and would like to get all the help that you all could give. thanks.

mas nindot gyud flood&drain sir...nya mas advisable na ma igo gyud ug sunlight or else mag add ka ug alternative lights..

Yup, kailangan jd sunlight. Gtauran mn gd sa ako papa ug atop2 didto dapit sa aquarium muna medyo nidim na ang sunlight.

naa ra man less wattage na mga pump..ako gamit is 22W + 6W na air pump run 24/7.Almost same ra man amo bill last time. Maximum hieght sa labay sa tubig sa ako pump is 1.9M. so kung ubos ra imo labayan sa tubig pede raka mag kuha ug aerator sa pump mismo naa lng tweakings gamay para kusug mo release ug bubbles.Bali standby na lng imo air pump..pede ra man sad imo off imo pump @ night kung dugay na imo setup like mga 6 months old na xa..Sa ako na setup kay 24/7 gyud para maximize ang growth sa ako plants.Asa imo location sir?
