The University of San Carlos-College of Architecture and Fine Arts seeks to identify potential graduate students for a proposed Masters of Fine Arts in Cinema Studies program for the academic year 2012 to 2013.

The course will include extensive study in the areas of Film History, Theory, Essay writing, Criticism, Cinemateque Management, and other scholarly studies in regards to Cinema.

Electives in the technical crafts of film production, such as editing, producing, sound, cinematography, and others, will round out the student’s education and experience.

As much as possible, the course’s classes will be held on Saturdays and evenings to help accommodate working professionals.

All graduated students from any discipline are encouraged to apply. Working filmmakers and those with film experience but no formal cinema education are especially encouraged to apply.
