the place has a good location, aesthetically-pleasant interiors and that's about it. i'm aware that a lounge bar has somewhat a dry ambience because it is a place to relax and chill out but tonic's ambience is too dry. the food is not that great either and a bit pricey for their quality.

i seriously think they should "repackage". concept and marketing definitely needs a lot of boost. they are now experimenting on hiphop probably because of desperation.

btw, i can't help picture their wall the one with flowing / re-circulating water as one big urinal. hehe!! if they had to use water they should have paired it that is something "of nature" not on tiles or glass. i've read somewhere that the owners flew to an asian country and was inspired by this concept. anyhow, there is always a difference of geography and culture as well as individual preferences.

nothing personal to the guys back at tonic... just a straightforward, objective comment.
