BioWare Heading Up New Command and Conquer? - IGN.com
It's no secret that a new Command and Conquer title is in the works by Victory Games, EA's strategy game studio, but recent hints suggest RPG-behemoth BioWare could also play a part in the future of the franchise.
A brief flash of footage teasing a new BioWare game appeared on Spike and depicted a number of armoured personal carriers coming under fire from a tank in an urban setting.
The video voiceover states, "For more than 15 years, BioWare has taken you to amazing new worlds. On Saturday December 10th find out where they are taking you next. A new direction, a new game from a new BioWare studio."
Further fuelling the rumour of BioWare's involvement with the Command and Conquer project was a LinkedIn profile update, reported by Kotaku but since removed from the business networking site, indicating that a user-interface artist works for "a BioWare studio called Victory Games", based near LA.
In an interview posted on the Command and Conquer website earlier this year, Victory Games' general manager Jon Van Caneghem announced that his team would be working on a new C&C title for PC and that a more formal announcement would follow later in the year. Van Caneghem also revealed that Victory Games has offices in various locations, including LA.
Whatever the identity of BioWare's new game might be, you can expect a more details during Spike TV's annual Video Game Awards on Saturday December 10.

lol I'll believe it when I see it.
I hope it'll be a tactical RPG in the stylings of Baldur's Gate set in the C&C universe.

I miss the cheap advantage the Infantry General had in those days heheh I also miss the crushing power of the Overlord Tanks

Command & Conquer Generals 2 Becomes Free AAA C&C Game
Command & Conquer Generals 2 is no more, and will instead be folded into a brand new - free - game simply called Command & Conquer, EA has announced.
