Actually, since the TS already has an iPod Touch 3G (as stated in his original post), mas practical man if mugamit cya og Apple Peel instead of mo "deretso og iPhone."

If naa na mo'y iPod Touch, nya ganahan mo mabutangan og phone function inyong device, cge go, palit mo og Apple Peel. Dili man gud ang "itsura" or ang "cons" (i.e. no 3G, no camera) tan-awn nimo ani, kay kung buot hunahunaon wa na man jd na daan sa iPod Touch (at least sa 3rd gen). Pero the fact nga ang existing iPod Touch owners kay naa diay option to add phone capabilities to their device, OK na kaayo oi.

Ako pud naa koy iPod Touch 3G, which I got March of 2010, so over a year old na. The reasoning behind why I decided to get an Apple Peel was: "The peel costs 5K, more or less. If I want an extra phone that I'm comfortable with, that I think looks good, etc. palit nlang ko og peel kaysa mugasto ko og tag 10K+ nga actual phone decent enough to compare with the specs of an iPod Touch. At least with the peel, I can finally put my iPod Touch to good use (instead of just games and WiFi internet)."

Nipalit kog Apple C Peel T166 sa Freesoul (Mandaue) mga 3 weeks ago. Para nako OK kaau cya. Naa ang phone og SMS capabilities. The phone and SMS capabilities "look" and function like the ones on an actual iPhone, pero they're not perfect (naay graphical bugs nga ang makabantay ra cguro kay katong mga tao nga observant kaayo, like me, og naa pud mga cons like having to save 2 numbers for every contact: 1 starting with the +63 country code, and the other with just the standard 0, etc). For me, even with the bugs, mo recommend ra gihapon ko ani sa existing owners of iPod Touches.

Depende guro sa tao kung unsa'y purpose nila ngano nahan cla mugamit ani. Sa akong case, nigamit ko ani coz I simply wanted the phone and SMS capabilities, nothing else. If imong purpose sa pag gamit ani is "para mura naa na kay iPhone," reconsider nlang. Bsg unsaon pa na nimo pag bali2x, iPod Touch ra gihapon na, wa kay mailad. Hehe.
