She made really tough decisions to achieve this and made enemies within the oligarch's circle (fast-forward to NOW). from 2005-2006, the Philippine Peso strengthened 20%, and by 2007 it was by far the best performing Asian currency of the year. The majority of Filipinos and poverty are practically synonymous for several decades, it is nothing new, to place that blame on the previous administration is to be ill-informed.
Not saying she should be excused from her crimes IF it is proven in court that she is guilty, she deserves the heavy hand of justice if she is indeed guilty. But you have to give credit where it is due.
