I explained to my kids that when I was at their age, my peers and old folks told me a Bakunawa will swallow the moon and that we have to make noises using our pans/pails, etc to scare the Bakunawa "para iluwa ug balik ang bulan"..., nitoo pa gani ko adto...hehehe.

this time, at least my kids now know better.

nakakita pud ko ani pgsat.. i was trying to get pix but unfortunately dili jud makaya sa normal digicam.. mugamit unta ko ug DSLR but i thought dali ra to nga eclipse so wala na lng ko ngrisk kay basin inigkabalik nako wla na.. hehehe.. medyo layo2 pa man gud from our bhaws inorder to see the clear view sa moon... pro atleast nakakita ko.. hehehe
