Ha-ha-ha funny ug ikaw pasultihon pero sa mga tawo nga dali maka-apas ug mga pretentions -we have seen the fact. Makatawa lang cguro ka or you don't like it kay that is a fact. The ball now is in the Senate's hand. Bi tan-won nato nang imong gipargapar nga concon ug motinuod ba gyud ang SEnado...
alangan og funny sab para nimo... lisud pagkatawa sa taw nga daku kaau og pride nga mo katawa sa iyang kaugalingon.

As for me... sa ako paghuwat nga mo dayon ba jud ang Con-Ass... homana, and it has proven nga mahadlok pa d i sila. oh well... but as for you, paghowat sab kong madayon ba ang ConCon... tan-aw nako ganahan sab ka nga i-blame ang senate sa mga taw pareho sa nahitabo karon nga gi blame ang congress sa nahitabo. :P

as for the check and balances..why do you think other countries (like Singapore..etc) are successful with their Parliamentary form of government?..progressive man lagi sila sa ila systema.

    http://www.philstar.com/philstar/fre...0612132101.htm

When "unretired activist" Renato Constantino Jr. crashed (he was uninvited) a press conference called by the leadership of the House of Representatives and stood up to speak without having been recognized, he was, at the very least rude and impolite.

Explaining his actions later, Constantino said he needed no invitation to the press conference nor an acknowledgement to speak because he was a "law-abiding citizen" who was exercising his right to express himself.

No one is disputing Mr. Constantino on that point. But perhaps Mr. Constantino should be reminded that invoking his rights as a citizen does not automatically result in the cancellation of the same rights of others.

In fact, Mr. Constantino not only needs to be reminded, he should be lectured about the dangers of invoking one's rights as a citizen and taking it to mean as a license to do anything. Imagine what horrors we face if all 87 million Filipinos thought like Constantino.

Why, how would Mr. Constantino feel if somebody barged into his house and, invoking his right as a citizen to be able to sleep soundly at night, slapped him silly for being such a noisy snorer?

Indeed, shortly after he disrupted the press conference, Mr. Constantino got a dose of his own medicine when Vic Agustin, a business gossip columnist of the Inquirer, got a glass of water and emptied its contents on his face.

We do not question the Inquirer's prerogative in suspending the column of Agustin for a day. But we take the relatively light "punishment" to mean it tacitly agreed with the action of Agustin. And rightly so. Those who saw the incident on tv say a punch was more appropriate.

Thus Mr. Constantino should consider himself lucky he only got cold water on his face. But he should now be forewarned not to repeat his antics elsewhere because some people might just invoke their own rights as offended citizens with more vigor and zeal than Agustin.

In Matters CONCERNING the NATION especially the CONSTITUTION.... you can't DENY the PUBLIC access............

If it WAS the Brithday of JDV.... then there is no need to ATTEND

Those WHO called for a PRESS CONFERENCE were on the VERGE of TINKERING the CONSTITUTION without even LISTENING to PUBLIC sentiment...

Mr. Constantino REPRESENTED the PUBlic in their DISAPPROVAL and ANGER over those congressmen

Reading through Phillstar's take, moingon na pod ka nga Philstar way hinungdan. Di gani pabor ninyo ang comment -way hinungdan. You have said earlier boycott ka sa inquirer ug sa philstar. Now that inquierer made an action against Agustin you started praising inquirer. I clearly shows what kind of animal on earth you are. You are bereft of consistency.

And your subsequent replies after Bcasabee's post indeed, shows how shallow you are. Answer the issues like we are not kids. Binata man kaayo nang imo bai dagget/mosimos/fk. I was very much right to say beforehand that Constantino should have been thrown at with a much harder thing -dili lang unta to tubig ang gisablig ba.

In fact peering throught others forums, I found out that they disagree with Agustins unwise actions but all of them agreed that Constantino deserves even more than water if that would teach him a lifetime lesson how to be a disciplined man -respectful of other's rights.

I guess the law should be amended and narrowed down from FREEDOM of SPEECH to FREEDOM of Responsible and Polite SPEECH

if Constantino's action is not right... then what do you call Agustin's actions? wise? discipline?

if Constantino was not invited, and that press con is per invitation basis, then he has violated the rules of gate crashing.

but the problem of this congressman or any other govt official is that they assume that they are so honorable that they deserve the highest respect in the land, above from anybody else... just take a look back at that congresswoman who berated a woman for serving her pork (honest mistake).
