-An interactive and hilarious take on William Shakespeare's classic tragedy that blends both contemporary and Shakespearean dialogues. Two actors perform all of the main roles with great versatility and in under 30 minutes. A wittingly sarcastic narrator accompanies the performance.

LADLAD

Performers: Jareliese Mauro(4PM) and Sheena Esa (7PM) for Munting Kalachuchi; Raymond Ordono for Red ang Luha ni Michael; Jules Inoc(4pm) and Maki GingoyoN(7PM) for Kulatado.
-An episodic play made up of three monologues that relate to the homosexual lifestyle. The stories are about the lives of a a man whose relationship with his partner ended after five years, a woman who finds a self-described positive healing with another woman, and the coming out of a transgendered woman.

AGNES OF GOD
Directed by Brett Aleonar
Performers: Judith Marie Eugenio(4PM) and Adrienne Lee (7PM) as Sister Agnes; Charlene Virlouvet (4PM) and Cherie Lou Mendoza-Solon(7PM) as Mother Miriam Ruth; Eden Villarba(4PM) and Thalia Tubungbanua(7PM) as Dr. Martha Livingston
-The story of a novice nun who gave birth and insists that the dead child was the result of a virgin conception. A psychiatrist and the mother superior of the convent clash during the resulting investigation.

This October 8, Cebuanos can witness a spectacular musical that spotlights the life and death of the first woman President of the Philippines, Corazon ‘Cory’ Cojuangco-Aquino, who rose to prominence, ousting the 20-year dictatorial Marcos regime, in 1986.

Produced and staged by Philippine Stagers Foundation (PSF) the all-original Filipino hit musical ‘Cory ng EDSA’ will be at the Mandaue Sports Complex this Saturday, October 8, with shows at 8 am; 1130 am, 3 pm; and 730 pm.


Written and directed by Aliw Best Director awardee Vincent M. Tañada, the stage production features Cindy Maree Liper as Cory and will be supported by a 50+ cast members including the director who has a journalist role in the musical.

PSF promises to not just entertain, but to move every Cebuano audience to value the word ‘love of country’ and ‘sacrifice’.

Synopsis. Since her husband’s passing seven months ago, the widow Elena Ivavnova Popova has locked herself in her home in deep mourning. Her loyal footman, Luka, concerned of Elena’s miserable condition, pleads with her to go outside.

Their conversation gets interrupted by the sudden arrival of Grigory Stepanovitch Smirnov who boorishly ignores the widow’s supposed mourning and demands from Elena her late husband’s debt of 1,200 rubles.





Synopsis. Hypochondriac Ivan Vassiliyitch Lomov has come to propose to Natalia Chubukov, a childhood friend and long-time neighbor. After he has asked respectfully and received joyful permission from her father Stepan Chubukov to marry Natalia, the girl is called and Ivan tries to propose.

While getting to the purpose of his visit to Natalia, he gets into an argument with her about The Oxen Meadows, a piece of land between their respective properties disputed by their families for many years.
