WOW.
The speed of making a hand seal and writing stuff in the air with no style at all is just fairly the same.

Does Hiei even know what Recca's dragons can do? NO.
Will he know that Recca already casted an illusion? Yeah, maybe. BUT NOT INSTANTLY.
He throws in an illusion.
Hiei attacks the illusion. Illusion breaks, then changes into another ability, Madoka, encasing Hiei.
Recca sumons Koku, blast em lazers.
Recca summons Reishen, eats his soul.
That's just my ASSUMPTION though, since most of the posts here are assumptions.
