naka gunit kug samsung Y gahapon,ako jd ge testingan, works good, capacitive ang screen, ang cam ky ok rajud, tin,aw na sya. i thought mag lisod kug txt,but i was wrong, pde sad sya ma qwerty diay. . i fell inlove daun, simple lng gamiton, limpyu ug dating, wai arte. .pero nice na ang specs and affordable rajud sya of starter android user...

ang qwerty ky imo syang ipa landscape imo phone, ayaw ipa barug ky gamay jud sya. . .

galaxy y has better:
1. processor
2. memory
3. OS version
4. screen pixel density

galaxy mini has better:
1. screen size
2. camera

mao sd ni akong reason nanu galaxy akong gpalit...so far so good for para sa una nga smart phone...

If vain kaau ka bai, mas nindot jud ang mini kay nindot man ug cam. Nia ang mini naa man free 2gb if paliton nimo ug bnew. pero if nahan ka ug paspas na unit ari ko sa Y 600mhz ra man ang mini nia ang Y kay 800mhz man.

ang sa mini lisod kaau na ang buttons kay pisliton man jud sa Y kay touch naman. Nia ang mini kay murag sabon. samok pa jud kaau ang non-symmetrical look sa mini. If nahan ka formal look ari ka sa Y kay murag iphone 3 ug porma. nia symmetrical ang porma. as what they say simplicity is beauty.

Nia if sa OS lng ang storyaan dli naka maglisod ug update sa Y kay 2.3 Gingerbread nman xa. ang mini kay 2.2 pa man ikaw pay mubayad para mu.upgrade ana.

Naa man sad libre 2Gb ang Galaxy Y.
I also read from gsmarena that some Galaxy Y package don't have headset but in my case, apil man ang headset.
So if mopalit mo ug Galaxy Y, make sure included sa package ang 2Gb microSD card and the headset.

is this galaxy y equiped with a andreno 200 GPU? if it does than i'll go with the galaxy y since it has a 830mhz processor. although you can also overclock galaxy mini's processor to hit the 800mhz speed. still the galaxy y wins with it's cheaper price tag.


anyway asa mo kakita ug pinaka barato naninda ug galaxy y mga migo ug miga. na-a man to gasulti nku gasale daw sa ayala ambot ug unsa nga store tag 4k nalang daw... i don't know if true coz i havent confirmed it yet.

will this be your first andorid smartphone?

if yes, go for the galaxy y.
its cheaper and packs a lot of features.
In case you wont like the Android experience, you wont regret because the galaxy y is just cheap and your wallet will not be heavily damaged.

as what people are telling you in this thread samsung galaxy y is cheaper and it has built in superb specs while the samsung galaxy mini it is not updated with OS and it is much more expensive.

im using the galaxy y ryt now from sun postpaid.so far so good and performance. wont lag. one thing i observe though, dali ma.low bat..off topic: any suggestions? am guessing its the applications that are running on the phone that drains the battery a little bit faster.
