Before anyone answers YES or NO, consider the following that happened:

    - Several provinces have been ravaged by the storm; Boracay was not even spared
    - There were some who died and got injured

As of now, all of the government's attention are on the victims of the storm including the ones in Albay which was previously ravaged by Reming.

Had the government pursued with the Summit, would PGMA herself put her focus on it (ASEAN) or at the victims of the storm?

Now that the government is being criticized by some because of the summit's postponement, would the government also be criticized by the same people if the so-called "lavish" summit was pursued in the midst of death and destruction?

    Think again.

.. yes, if the summit proceeded as planned for sure reactions such as AH, GRABIHA AH, GI.UNA MAN GYUD ANG SUMMIT KAYSA MGA BIKTIMA SA BAGYO . But still, it tarnished the already bad reputation of the philippines. oh well, what's done is done. Time to move on..

    possible reasons:

    1. bagyo = although hinay ra, maka affect sa pagbiyahe sa delegates unya naa pod ko nakit-an nga mga slight damages sa cebu due to it sa news kagabii. mas maayo sad dyud nga dili rainy day ang adlaw sa ceremony.

Ang punto diha is NI -IGO BA SA CEBU ANG BAGYO? Dili na lang nato himoong rasun nga nagbaha sa Boracay or didto sa Luzon. Wa man gi held didto ang Asean Summit diri man sa Cebu dili ba? Its a poor alibi.

Nya kanang rasun nga daghan unya ma apektohan sa bagyo nga gikinahanglan gyud tagaan ug pagtagad, unsa man diay na si PGMA? Di ba Presidente siya? Pwede man niya i delegate sa iyang mga subordinates ng trabahoa lyk the NDCC, the DSWD and the DND. Kinahanglan gyud diay nga siya mangunay pagtabang. Or arun lang gyud maka pogi points na pod sa mga tawo. Or arun makahimo ug alibi para dili madayun ang summit for reasons other than the typhoon.

Presidente siya. Naa siyay responsibilidad sa Asean. Nya himoon nyang alibi ang bagyo para i kanselar ang daku kaayo nga event doesnt speak well of the kind of leadership she has.

you don't get it do you? read the logical and objective comments above, you might wanna change your last comments.

your opening statement alone is very funny. do you understand what is preventive? unya KUNG ni-igo ang bagyo sa Cebu, ikaw ang manubag? you are certainly not GOD therefore you do not know for certain. kapisch? you just gave your comments AFTER the predicted typhoon did not hit cebu.

ready or not, it was a blessing in disguise and sticking with their decision was of lesser potentail disaster.
