I want to be a programmer, too. But the sad part is I am not an IT or CompE graduate, commerce graduate ko. I found my job boring some time, so I want to shift or add programming on my career. I know it is possilbe, but I need somebody to share me a very successful programmer that is not a graduate to any computer-related courses. hehehe

A Must Have Requirement is PATIENCE and COMMON SENSE.

1. Learn the Basics Looping, Condition Statement (if.. else..)
2. Learn how to use Database (read and write)
3. Once you have learn the Basic try to create what u have learn with the basic
4. last Enhance what u have learn. Try and try until u DIE..

I have an officemate nga nursing grad and some are undergrads from different courses, nag undergo silag training in this company ra gihapon for 6 months and I'm pretty sure they're way better Software Engineers than meee!

answer the question first: "why you want to be a programmer?" it's important to determine the best path you'll take.

system and database programming is two different field and uses different approach, though same concepts. naa pud game programming.

why should you avoid trial and error? thats the most effective way to learn

well said. trial and error is part of programming. not always that you'll be happy with a code that works, you'll eventually think out of the box to optimize the code further. even seasoned programmer make mistakes and have to dig thru libraries of functions to solve a problem.

trial and error dont mean that you're just trying to solve problem using random approach, it can mean that you've already solved the problem, it's just that you havent exhausted the means to solve it efficiently
