I have seen with my two eyes how the Immigration Officer "cross-examined" travellers, especially ladies. Grabe. I heard him ask what she will be doing in Singapore. The lady said she was on vacation and was just touring. Then he asked the lady to show him her money and count it in front of him!

I suspect they discriminate people especially from the Philippines.

Kung mag soul searching, why go to a busy or even to cosmopolitan cities? why not go to the provinces there in cebu, for example. It is cheaper and practical.

Agree ko. Lisod mag travel alone kay you are alone to fend for yourself. What if you get sick? Or meet an accident? You will be all by your lonely self.

Pero, since you can plan activities without having to wait or adjust to your companion, you can make plans faster. Mao sad ni ang trade off.

To me, travel with a buddy with whom you have adjusted well para enjoy.

Like now, I am in Singapore, magka sabot man mi sa partner nako. We try foods which are not found at home. Go see places we agree on. Or shop for things unique in the Lion City.

Why not go to a quite place for soul searching? /go on a retreat kung mag soul searching. While there, maka reflect, retrospect, examine, plan, etc.

Kung mag retreat, (not necessarily religious) you can go to some quite place and commune with nature too.
