As part of a launch platform's superstructure, I don't think this is strong enough or would be able to stand temperature and stress extremes. However, as payload material (i.e. for parts of stations, space probes, cargo pallets, equipment structure, etc.) a material like this would be a boon for commercial space travel FROM earth, because of the high cost of lifting stuff off the surface of the earth to put into LEO. The rule of thumb is that the lighter it is, the cheaper it will be to get it off this planet.
