I am. Ayaw lng saba lol.

Yes, It's hard. It's one of the reasons I left our home because I didn't wan't to give my relatives any reason to talk badly about my family. I also don't want to be a cause of embarrassment to my family since they're quite religious, although I know they love me and miss me a lot.

what i have learned is that there are three axes in human sexual behavior that explains how we relate to people sexually.

there's sexual orientation, where in you can either be:
    • homosexual - only attracted to the same ***
    • heterosexual - only attracted to the opposite ***
    • bisexual - attracted to both.

there's sexual identity that describes your perception of yourself. this basically answers the question "how do you see yourself inside?,
    • a man
    • a woman

then there's gender identity which is a bit more complex since it does with gender roles that a society assigns and/or on how one relates to the outside world. but generally it is grouped into two:
    • masculine - which generally refers to what constitutes masculine behavior
    • feminine/effeminate - which generally refers to what constitutes feminine behavior

the curious thing about this is it's a mix and match thing. one can be homosexual, who sees himself as a man, and is masculine (lakin-on) on how he relates to other people. and i guess that is what some people that frequent this thread are. although it seems that there are a number of bisexuals as well.

the curious thing about this is that the scheme also applies to everybody (straights and gays alike, even lesbians and trans-gendered), which means that it describes human sexual behavior regardless of which side of the fence you are in.
