kung lenux server ka,nya nka windows xp client/worktation unsaon nmo pag configure nga maka login ka using domain?

Inorder for windows to communicate with LINUX is thru SAMBA... if you are planning to authenticate windows clients into DOMAIN.. pwede ang samba mamahimo nga usa ka PDC or Primary Domain Controller which is akin to Windows NT Server... Galing lang dili lang active directory kay Windows NT pa gud... First, you need an LDAP server for the central repositories of your users account. However, only linux box lang makalogin that's why you need samba... try to read on this link www.samba.org.

Naay equivalent ang fedora sa windows active directory which Fedora Directory Server. Pero problema nako, akong nainstall sa ako LDAP server pero walay support unsaon pag connect sa client... Palit ka'g Redhat Directory Server para naay support. For now, SambaLdap akong gamit para makalogon ang linux users ug windows likewise, it will map clients home drive inig logon sa linux user sa windows para makawork siya sa iya docs na files...

Pre, kung magpainstall ka... pwede ko, mahimo kaau nako na.... linux server as a domain controller....

Yup try SaMBA bro, or if you want to run windows jud under linux, try VMWARE or WINE(www.vmware.com or www.winehq.org)
