mam ako daw try basi nangita nas akong pag-abag.
regarding your issue, i think there's something wrong with the remote. The RC-6 is supposed to work with the 5D mkII. I highly doubt that your camera is defective. Perhaps there's a setting there somewhere to turn on or off the IR receiver on the camera?

hmm.. i also one of those and so far it works well, did u check the position of the battery? theres a switch in the remote maybe you turn it off or something.
if you want nako Kopi Roti on Monday after lunch its near canon service center @ the Gallery, pwede nato tabangan og trouble shoot imo gear.
TS: di ko expert sa imong cam but just my opinion. kng imong trigger nkaproblema nmo to USE ur cam try daw put that RC-6 away then shoot without it.
i think di ramn cgro na problema imong trigger. u can use other features like the 2sec/10sec delay kng gusto ka mogamit ug lower shutter speed. u missed all the fun around u because u worry too much ana imong trigger.
bag.o mn kha na imong cam. better explore it by using it and Don't Worry about ur trigger. KEEP SHOOTING!![]()

sir I'm in sydney and canon service centre here is like an hour drive. i have to make sure that its the camera thats defective and not something else. I've tried pretty much everything but no luck. i have tried using both the switches of the back, its the one shoot and 2 sec timer isn't it?and then put the shooting mode to same but still it doesn't work. now I'm very close of trading it in with a d3s.my friends suggested it.theyre nikonitesbut i don't wanna confuse myself of having to learn how to use nikon, I'm already confused as it is
