Kinsa nga scorecard siya ga-lead? You mean those people who are saying Marquez won the first round, 2nd round, 3rd round, 4th round, 10th, 11th and 12th, When Pacquiao clearly had a marginal higher volume of punches than Marquez? The only people who said JMM was winning int those rounds were (1) Flomos, (2)JMM fans--and everybody knows they already have an inclination to be bias against Pac.

The bolded statement is particularly the reason why JMM lost the fight.

Leading in the scorecard? Whose scorecard? Di man na sila makabalo sa scorecards sa judges while they are fighting. And AFAIK, only the 3 official judges hold the official scorecards, the only reference I made to Lederman is because he is trained to be a boxing judge himself. And even the TV crew reiterated that his card was unofficial.

So Marquez(or you) saying that he was leading on the scorecard was a matter of perception and in this case it is the wrong impression that he was dominating Pacquiao in what was a really close bout, with no basis on the official judge's scorecard. Marquez should know that while he did take away Pacquiao's game, he did not dominate him and a lot of the rounds were really close and it was a tactical mistake on his part and his corner to just dance the final few rounds away. In a close contest like that, a boxer has to engage his opponent and show the judges some aggressiveness and make them rethink their scores.

Im really interested in your logic. You more interested in the opinion of the
Trained boxing judges because they ARE THE BEST of dissecting the fight.
Go watch Willaims-Lara, Evander-Lewis, Whitaker vs Chavez and Mallinagi vs Diaz or if you have already seen it and tell me who won in all those fights.
All professional judges with almost 10-30 years in judging fights. although its another story but i really wanna hear your opinions on those fights. really........... i just want to know if your legit or not lol.

The compubox really is very inaccurate, everybody knows that. Boxing is not about replay in slow mo- compubox no. What the fans saw ana na jud na, you can't go back to your pc and watch the fight in slow mo or present the compubox no. as evidence because that's laughable, they saw what everybody else saw, the professional boxers, writers, analyst, media and fans have pacquiao losing even the filipinos in the Venue have it for marquez lmao.... except for pactards and some filipino media (who only watch pacquiao fights).

If we base solely on Compubox then that was a fight dominated by Pacquiao. However, even without compubox, my instant reaction watching the live fight was this fight could go either way or it would be a draw. Meaning to say, I would not have anything to say had Marquez won that fight and would have accepted that decision well because in my assessment it was a really close fight. If JMM was saying he could have won by 1 of 2 points, then it was a dumb decision on his part to give away the last 2 rounds because that means even if kabalo siya nga close ang fight, he settled for inaction. The only time you dance away the last 2 rounds is when you are leading by at least 3 points or won 7 of the last 10 rounds. Did JMM clearly win 7 of the first 10 rounds? Hardly. He should know too well how close some of the rounds were and should have been more conservative in his assessment. I watched replays but never in slo-mo and the more I watch again, I am becoming even more convinced Pacquiao won this fight more convincingly that the 2nd fight with Marquez

Clouded ang assessment ni Beristain. Tan-awa ra gud unsa iya gisulti after Round 1 and 4 when these were rounds where Pacquiao was more active and connected a lot more than JMM and rounds that Pacquiao clearly won.

Everyone's judgment of the fight was clouded by the fact that they wanted to see Pacquiao dominate his opponent which admittedly he did not.

While Marquez did very well in that fight, there was also no question that he did not dominate the fight. And it is the yardstick in boxing that in a close fight, the judges favors the bolder, more aggressive fighter, styles be damned.

Marquez was successful at taking away Pacquiao's game. But that was not enough. He circled away from Pacquiao's left and cut him well but he did not throw anything while doing it. Had he thrown more jabs while circling away, the outcome could have been different.

The difference in the Mosley fight was that he dominated that fight clearly and while he can get tagged with some of Mosley's clean shots, he was so dominating in that contest that it hardly mattered.

And the look of frustration on Pacquiao's face and body language is understandable. He did not have his best night, the frustration could be directed to himself. Yet on that bad night, the judges still think he did enough to give him the win.


What this shows is maturity on the part of Pacquiao. Contrary to you saying that he was aware of being behind in the scorecard, I'd rather say he was aware that he could lose the fight and he had to do something about it. It is because of that sense of urgency, that aggressive aura that won him the fight. Suffice to say, it was that sense of urgency that Marquez sorely lacked in his arsenal.



Again, a matter of perception. In fact, that statement could be libelous pero hardly threatening kay di man pod to mobasa ang judges ani. I think it is unfair to insinuate payoffs were made without even providing the slightest hint of proof. As I've said, The win could have gone either way. The big difference is that, in my perception, Pacquiao would have taken the loss graciously had Marquez been given the nod. And well, Marquez whined..BOOOO!

Hardly. More of overconfidence vs. paniguro. That only shows that in Beristain's assessment, they were dominating the fight which they clearly did not, huge tactical error here. Roach was more conservative in his assessment and that has an impact on how Pacquiao went out in the later rounds.

For sure, Marquez would have come out of his corner in a different way had Beristain told him the rounds were really close and he cant leave anything to chance. IMO, a corner should be more conservative in a way they assess a fight especially close contests.

True, but hardly dominating. He was the challenger, why not demand sense of urgency? More than anything, this was a tactical error by his corner to tell him to dance away the last 2 rounds. That cost him the fight for sure.

Seriously, in all his loses, it was only against Mayweather where he did not whine because he was clearly dominated there. In all his other losses, he whined. The only way he can say he clearly won this fight is if he won by a margin of at least 4 rounds. Lesser than that then he knows it could have gone either way and that unfortunately it did not go his way.
