1. Locate the CPU socket on the motherboard.
2. Press the right load lever down and shift it to the right to release from the retention tab. The load lever will slightly lift up.
3. Do the same to the left load lever by pushing it down and then shifting to the left to release.
4. Push the right load lever down to lift the load plate.
5. Position the CPU over the socket, ensuring that the triangular mark is aligned to the bottom-left corner of the socket.
6. Close the load plate and lock it down by pushing down the left load lever, ensuring that the edge of the load plate is fixed by the lever. The PnP cap will automatically pop up from the CPU socket. Hook the left load lever in place.
7. Remove the PnP cap. Then push down the right load lever down and insert it under the retention tab.
8. Place the heatsink on top of the installed CPU, ensuring that the four fasteners match the holes on the CPU socket.
9. Fasten the screws in a diagonal sequence and make sure they completely secure the heatsink to the motherboard.
