The Supreme Court has rejected the Solicitor General's motion for reconsideration on the temporary restraining order (TRO) issued by the court on the watchlist order against former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
The High Court also issued a show cause order directing Justice Secretary Leila de Lima to explain within 10 days why she should not be held in contempt of court for not honoring the SC-issued TRO.

iyahay nalang ni ug diskarte gud. wa may mahims ang DOJ sa SC, no other recourse than to file the case. that's the only way to hold arroyos from flying. kung sa basketball pa ni, isig backsout lang ni. sa maka rebound lang. hehehe.

Justice is the foundation of LAW. It is not only the an end of law but its basic foundation.
The rule of law is not something we can turn on and off depending on who it applies. If the rule of law is inconsistent, then those unalienable rights written on the constitution are alienable after all. If the constitution isn't ultimate all the time, without ratification, then it is as good as pieces of papers with insignificant writings on it.
