i'm not celebrating a win yet. what i'm celebrating is the presence of cojones in the government!!! that was an absolute, brass-balls move by the DOJ and the people at NAIA to stand against a former president (who is well known for her cruelty and lack of respect for authority other than hers), the cronies tagging along (what an ass that representative who took down names was. just goes to show how much power-mongering arroyo's cronies are capable of) and the corrupted supreme court.

Nothing to celebrate. As much as I would like Arroyo to be tried ASAP, but they're not following the law anymore. They're going to create another problem out of the present problem and it's not something to be proud of and worth celebrating.

TRO- Temporary Restraining Order. Restrain the DOJ to deny GMA travel outside the country. Giving enough time for GMA to get out.

Its Temporary. So the SC may still rule on whether the Executive has a right to restrain anyone.

This is a calculated risk by de LIma. Nagplano na siya nga mag senador siya come election time. Ang iya nga kung ma contempt man gani siya magpa preso siya to gain more sympathy from the public and gain more media mileage. She actually knows what she is doing. She is a trained lawyer and she is no fool. Way mahimo ang presidente kung iyang ingnon nga that's the law and the law is be to followed. But she has other things in mind for her political future.
