which particular sea use?
- occasional family? you use Sit-On-Top (Single and/or Tandem)
- surfing? all those whitewater playboats can be use for surfing
- fishing/diving/snorkel? Sit-On-Top are ideal
- short/middle distance paddling? those long slim type of kayak, e.g. DAGGER RPM
