But that is not the point. Ok, lets accept that EDSA 2 was a revolution of the people. GMA has no right to succeed Erap because she is PART of the Erap government being the Vice President at that time. When it was a revolution GMA should go down with it. The wrong thing about it is that she wanted to succeed Erap.
There was no succession. Succession to the presidency could only occur in cases of death, incapacity, impeachment or resignation. But Erap did not die, was not incapacitated, was not impeached and all the more did not resign. So why GMA would insist herself to be sworn in as Erap's successor.
Tsk, she was even heard to say that " Sige na, i swear na ako."
