The SC once upheld the President's order not to allow the dead body of Marcos to return in the Philippines, because of national security.

Cant the gov use "national security" as a reason again, after all election sabotage is a crime committed not only against the state but also against each every Filipino? But then again its just wishful thinking. The president's residual power has only three basis if I am not mistaken.

Furthermore the amount plundered if true by Arroyo should be return to the government.

Its hard to rely on the SC. They have no respect at all even for their own jurisprudence. Look at this problem we have now, a possible Constitutional crisis.

The supreme court spokesman is saying the government is in contempt because their order is immediately executory. If "final" can mean not really final, then "immediately" can also mean not really immediately. It's the consequence of their lack of credibility. If SC make a mockery of their interpretative powers then they shouldn't be surprised if no one, not even the President can give them respect anymore. They've done it to themselves.

it means that if GMA dies then she was really sick and Noy will look like a total jackass. It means all their accuses like she will escape are baseless lies and people will loose faith on him over more.

Add this to giving money to rebels, Noy's constant overstepping on the other Branches, the death of GMA would trigger will trigger his ousting. Afterall, who wants a vindictive megalomaniac for a leader?
