Here's the official scorecard from Pacquiao-Marquez III. The judges concurred on 6 of the 12 rounds – 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

The Telegraph had it as a draw, 114-114. I gave Pacquiao rounds 3,4,6,10,11 and 12; Marquez 1,2,5,7,8 and 9.

On final analysis, in a close fight there are always doubts. The judges make a decision based on individual rounds and hand their scores in each round. Over the generality of the fight, Marquez looked the more impressive; Pacquiao came on strong at the end. But all judging is subjective.

it's not necessary to "outaggressived" (sori for the term) the title holder to beat him, basta ma outclassed or outpoint (which Marquez did) lang nimo sya during the fight then that's enough to win the bout.

Some of us still thinks why Manny still won the title match with Marquez. Before the fight begins, Manny is the Champion and Marquez is the challenger. Meaning Marquez needs to convince the expectation of the judges that He can win. (example, from level 1 - 10, Manny is 10, Marquez still 1) now, if Marquez did knock down Manny in any round, means that he go over the level of Manny. He will never win by decision, unless He really convince the judges that He is capable of beating Manny. The highest title of the challenger against the Champion is DRAW. (Knock the Champion first in any round before you convince the Judges that you are capable for His belt). I hope this could help to answer all your question against Manny....

apparently Compubox and the judges didn't see huh? bai, again, dli ma base ang decision based on how solid a punch was or not, it's about dictating the pace of the fight. Had he actually pressed on Pacquiao instead of waiting for combination, evade/guard, counter-punch, then footworked out of range, I would be pretty disappointed too that he didn't win. If you're going to make the claim that he outclassed and outpoint Pacquiao then you'd easily be refuted with the Compubox statistics of the fight. Amir Khan admitted that it was Marquez's style that had him assume he won the fight, but after watching the fight again he pointed out the Pacquiao was definitely controlling the pace. Despite Marquez landing a higher percentage of his punches than Pacquiao, Pacquiao landed more in quantity and that's what scores points, not the thrown/landed percentage.

it happens in boxing, they have opposite boxing stance so normal rana matumban. And also sa side ni Marquez he don’t have time to sense and calculate where is Pacman’s foot to step on kay busy syag suntok sa target. Di kaha sya ma outbalance if e prioritize niya ang pagtunob sa tiil ni Pacman before punching? think about that
