since it is already computerized and powered by ICs/chipsets, i was thinking that a universal model "might" be possible; by diagnosing first the engine electronically and digitally then shall apply the corresponding tuning. unlike the pre-made/configured for specific models which is plugnplay...

Well, technically it can be done, but it is not easy and more risks. Most of this tuning boxes are pre-configured using sophisticated tools to be able to get the best performance of an engine.

same with Sir e_mer8. italian box pud ang ako and quite good so far. dali kaayo pahunaton. the best is actually remapping of the ECU but it takes more effort and technical knowledge + the tools to do it. I already have some of the tools but I'm still on the learning curve kay kinahanglan dyud ug tun-an ug maayo.

Which car are you using for that tuning box? Care to so share the info's of the engine used and if there are some parts changed or fuel additives added?

No doubt, ECU remapping is better but it is not easy and risky.

Same like sir e_mer8 Hyundai santa fe 2007. everything is stock in the engine but it's screaming with power with the italian box. sir bugoy has the RC. These are all piggy backs and though with obvious increased performance, nothing could still beat an ECU remap. Piggy backs are just signal translators and will not coordinate with the programming code of the ECU. Remapping is the real stuff.

Exactly, ECU is the real thing, but one thing about ecu remapping is a bit of risk and may void warranty. There are some of these piggy back tuning boxes that are well configured and greatly increase engine power and pick up and may always expensive.

and we only got an added 1hp on the dyno on a toyota mrs 1zzfe engine, they can also verify that

Nice stuffs there. With that dyno, u can really see the difference of the performance in a tuned and a non tuned car.
