JMM said "I was robbed ! What else can I do to win ?"
Well, knock out Pacman. Or attack him and or hurt him really bad to win convincingly.
Pacman is the champion. In the whole history of boxing, the challenger is supposed to be the aggressor, to try to get the belt. If the challenger KO's the champ by counterpunching, that's fine, just like JMM beating Juan Diaz. But most of the time, the challenger who just waits and doesn't really hurt the champ will lose.
So even if JMM showed he hit Pacman more, they were not damaging. It's like in warfare, one side can hit a castle a lot, but if they are unable to enter it, they are still the losers.
So that's the way it is. JMM will never win, he must change his style.
Missing in this fight is Pacman's fire. Counterpunchers are his waterloo, although they won't beat him if he stays as he is.
Manny Steward is right, he knows his boxing. "You don't win championships, you take it." Maybe one can win on punches that don't hurt in the amateur league, but not in the pros.
agressive man jud si manny sa duwa nila permi pero marquez him with lots of uppercut

First of all, the age is not a factor in the scoring system.
This is boxing and Pacquiao is not just a champion. He's a P4P King.
Question is, as a challenger did Marquez really proved that he undoubtedly beat Pacquiao? I don't think so.
Problem about Marquez' style is it is very "play safe" kind of style. He relies on his opponent to make mistakes. Otherwise, he can't convincingly dominate a fighter just like in all his fights against Pacquiao. He should have at least put Pacquiao on the seat of his pants to make a difference.
Pacquiao on the other hand fights with a lot of risks being put in the game yet can still come up with a dominating win against his opponents. In case of play safe fighters like Marquez, it will naturally turn out to be a close fight. Thus being the Champion he is naturally given the edge.
Now comparing the play safe fighter against a risk taker fighter and the fight turned out to be a close one, which style deserves more credit? You guessed it right, it's the risk taker. That's the quality decision and points should go.
However, if Marquez managed to put a big difference like a KD or a lopsided win, there should be no doubt that Marquez deserves the win. Unfortunately, non of his fights against Pacquiao showed such case.
