    Local Area Network (LAN)
    - A local area network (LAN) is a group of computers and associated devices that share a common communications line or wireless link. Typically, connected devices share the resources of a single processor or server within a small geographic area.

    Gi grupo kini sa tulo (3) o daghan pa nga computer nga gi tawag nga workgroup.

    Bag-O ta magsugod mao ni ang materiales:

    1. Cable - bulk Category 5, 5e, 6 or 7 cable (usually blue or white in color)
    2. Wire Cutters - to cut and strip the cable if necessary
    3. RJ45 Plugs

    4. RJ45 Crimper

    Recommended:

    * Wire Stripper
    * Network Hub or Switch

    Optional

    * Cable Tester

    Let start.

    Wiring
    Importante ang sako nga set-up sa mga wires. I'll provide guide kung unsaon ni pag buhat.

    Paniti ang cable wire nga gamiton using a Wire Cutter nga ako gi ingon. Mao ni ang hitsura sa cable wire pagkahuman paniti.

    Important: Make sure nga pariho ang tupong sa wire sa pag putod ug pag panit.

    1. E atobang sa inyo ang pins sa RJ45,

    and take note of this wire color combination.

    White Orange
    Orange
    White Green
    Blue
    White Blue
    Green
    White Brown
    Brown

    *Straight through Connection.

    2. Dikitdikita ang mga wires sama sa paka sunodsunod sa mga color nga naa sa picture sa igbaw.

    3. Make sure nga tupong tanan anti e sulod sa mga buho sa RJ45 plugs.

    4. Kung pagkita ninyo nga tupong na or ok na tanan, isulod ang wire ngadto sa tumoy sa pag dikit sa pin sa RJ45.

    5. Crimped it using a crimping tool.

    Note: Ayaw kaayo ipita ky tingalig mabuak ang RJ45 plug.

    6. Buhata kini sa kada tumoy sa cable wires. Kung pila ang mga computers na ine-network, mao gihapon ang ihap sa cable wires nga butangan ug rj45 ug e crimped.

    7. Kung mahuman na tanan. Plug the RJ45 to your network adapter located at the back of your computer. Buhata sa tanang computer.

    6. Kuhaa ang Network Hub ug iplug na tanan mga wires.

    Now your ready for the configuration.

    First step, Right Click "My Computer" on your desktop, click properties. Navigate to Computer Name tab. Enter a computer name and a work group name. Look like this

    Sa properties, Migamit ko ug Class C IP addressing. You can also use Class A or B or D, depende na sa inyo. But commonly used is the class A addressing.

    Next, buhata na tanan sa mga computer. Parihas ang prosiso.

    Done!!

    Make sure nakaswitch ang network hub o switch.

    Now, unsaon pag test kung successful ang inyong gi buhat?
