Pero sauna di kaayo brutal... I mean, you don't see kids walking around with a kiss makeup on. Ang mga punkista sauna maoy pinaka visible pero it's more of a culture other than the "look". The newwavers back then laid low.. most of them wear their get-up sa shows. Mga hilig ug heavy metal tries to get the look... mga long hair, mostly mullet-cut. Usahay naa kay makit-an nga mag spandex.. headband.. bandana, etc... pero tagsa ra gyud kaayo.

Pero karon, lahi na... kids can be identified as to what music they listen to just by looking at them. Naka "dress-code" everytime they go out.

bitaw...i fully agree...i think this was mtv's plan to somewhat "colorcode" newbies so we can distinguish them from the "been there, still doing it" people...

its like college...you know freshmen when you see one...

hmmm.. bitaw sa... porma kaayo mga batan-on karon.. (mura pud kog tiwuwang, wa pa gani ko graduate college, hahaha) kinumdum ko naay freshman sa amo college, tabon iya mata sa iya buhok.. unsaon man niya pag kita sa iya gi agi-an? ako noun naay koy long hair sauna, as in like cohed and cambria afro na murag yngwie malmsteen kung basa, pero ako pud pug-ngan or hipuson kung mu lakaw ko.. it wasnt that i wanted to have certain look, maybe a little, pero for the most part, i just dont like going to barbershops and/or parlors, honestly.. now i have a mini fro, kay nag pa opaw sauna ko for ojt.. not that it matters to the topic, di man ko musician anyway..

so the point diay sa ako previous post kay porma btaw kaayo mga baaton karon and image does sell today, more than ever, over what the artists' are producing, which is sad.. i blame it on the marketing people, like for example havaianas, i know its not music but its an example of pure marketing, they make people pay an absurd amout of money for 2, i mean 4, peices of rubber from brazil, go buy a spartan, at least your supporting filipino products. Just like the generic pop music shit today, because MTV says its cool, kids buy it...
