korek.. ug ma interview d i daun and hired same day? bcin dli cgro sugot madawat ug dali..
ako migo kay apply man a week before siya ari singapore. gi schedule siya interview kay abot man siya alas dose.pag next day interview.next day dawat pirma.paksit! yahay pa sa walay purol.
so if within 7 days from the time naabot ka SG naa ka daun work pass then you are considered to be very lucky!
all of us have different experiences dri sa SG.
naa diri uban nka kita work in less than a week
naay uban nka abot na 3 months
naay uban buzzer beater like EgentKakashi
naa pod ko amigo in 3 days naa nay work
naa pod ko kaila naa pa sa pinas pero gi process na iya employment pass and it got approved. he will be coming here in SG by next week para medical exam then start cya daun work
but we should also take into consideration ang panimpad dri sa SG is a risk
you should expect the worst and hope for the best
Time is the most important element you need to consider once you get in. A tourist is only given 30 days of stay upon embarkation. In other words, once you get off behind the yellow line of the airport immigration counter, the clock starts ticking and you only have that long to get into your cheese. Although, you can get an extension when it expires, or take the “Get out, get in” maneuver. I suggest you stick to a 30-day plan, so as to manage your resources well. With the current exchange rate, a 30-day job hunt in Singapore may cost PHP 80K, conservative budget (excluding air fare).
Just like any hunting mission, the hunter should be geared up and prepared to take on any impediment that comes his way in the wild.
Getting a job offer is just half the battle won. Another challenge is getting your pass approved. Employment passes are processed by your employers and are subject to approval by the Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower. This government agency is tasked to make sure that foreign work force meets the standards of the country. Once your E-Pass application is submitted together with your documents and credentials, you do not have any control of it anymore nor your employer. You are at the agency’s mercy and all you can do it is wait for their verdict which normally gets back to you within the day or after a week or two.
Even after signing up on a job offer, do not stop sending out resumềs. Expect for the best, but prepare for the worst. Don’t waste a week hoping and waiting. Remember, no pass equals to no job. A roommate and very close friend of mine got a taste of the stringent MOM approval process, two employers for two different job offers, failed to get him an employment pass. My other close friends, was also denied approval once. I did not mean to scare you, but that’s just how it is. However, if you stay focused on the mission and if you are determined, nothing is impossible.
