Seriously, Recca will have a tough time dealing with CURRENT Sasuke, yes I admit that.
Why? Because Naruto is still ongoing while Flame of Recca finished eons ago.
And you know the dynamics of a shonen manga.
So it's a little unfair.
This thread popped up i think before Sasuke battled Danzo.
So Recca vs Sasuke that time was fun since they can seriously maintain a good battle. [Via debate, refer the first few pages duh].

BUT then Sasuke got the power boost.
Then Recca still have his 8 dragons. LOL.

The flaw of this thread is that the OP is not fixed.
No meeting place. How far are they from each other?
Do they have morals on or off? Well if you talk about sasuke, morals is not an issue since he's totally demented and emo like forever.
Do they know each other's abilities? Do they have prep time?
Do they have the reason to battle?
And lastly their status.
OP didn't said Sasuke's status, either Sasuke during Kage Summit Arc or Sasuke fighting Danzo.
OP just mentioned they fight so we assumed current Sasuke which is insanely emo[imba].

Now what I'm really pissed about are the fanboys.

Genjutsu? Say hello to Recca's 6th Dragon, Rui.

Taijutsu? REALLY? RECCA SURVIVED THE PUNCHES OF THE BUDHHA. DODGE SOUNDWAVES. EVEN SURVIVED HIS OWN DRAGON'S FIRE.
SAY HELLO TO Koku's Laser Beams.
Setsuna's flame eye.
And soul eater 8th dragon. Reishin.
And did I mentioned Recca can summon atleast 2 dragons at the same time and can combine their powers.

My view before is just a TIE. With Sasuke out of chakra, and Recca is out of stamina.
Now my current stand is, yes, Sasuke can whoop Recca's poor jeans. Sadly.
But not easily. DUH.
