PayPal: Anybody has his funds under review and not released after 24h?

A transaction is held not because of the standing of your account, but its because of the transaction itself. It could be that the review team is tracing where the funds are coming from. If they came from a credit card, there is a high possibility it will take more than 24 hours. Over a week even.

You have a red flag right?

We transfer since 2 years EVERY day funds from one business account to another (shared from software sales). 2 years, never a single review or such, now since 2 or more weeks, EVERY transaction is under review.
Its no good what paypal is doing. Also their fees are just too high. I pay USD $25k/year just paypal fees.
I finally gave up and transfer the shared once a week via telegraphic transfer to my bank, which is effectively faster than paypal, and cost just $35 independent of the amount.

If its a red flag sir, then its a random hold. Its a system generated hold on your transaction which they will check and eventually release before 24hours, UNLESS they passed it to the review dept for deeper probation.

I agree with you, as much as possible don't use paypal for big transactions. You would only make them rich. Bank wire would be best option.

Its bizarre but paypal will do things like this for sometimes no valid reason at all. I for one had experienced this. They withhold my money for approximately 1 month. In paypal it says transferred and completed but did not arrive at my eon account. I need to call union bank and paypal over and over again to check who is at fault. After fighting over the phone and called US Paypal customer service, they sent me the money.

One time PayPal did hold the money for no reason at all, it's under a review or something. I called them up and insisted to talk to their supervisor not an agent because the supervisor can do something about it not the agent. I told her that if you can check on your system, the same client has been sending me money for quite some time and there were no issues on his part ever since. Thus, she double checked on it and said you were right. Sorry for the inconvenience and lift the "hold" on my money.

It would be best to call Paypal over and over again, insist to talk to a supervisor say a lot of BS (bad words, curse words) and be very angry. I never thought I could say a lot of bad words but when it comes to PayPal holding my money wow! I am amazed how many BS I have said and all the FY...It did work for me. I hope it works for you. Never give up unless you get what you wanted!

I gave up with paypal.
I am now doing telegraphic transfer, which is faster and much cheaper than paypal.
