wait what? prophecies? I don't know if I should take that seriously. Those do not hold gravity in a global forum, sir. You stated it yourself, 3,000 years. You mean to say a claim that dates 3,000 years ago is legitimate?. Do you even know the make up of the Palestine region prior to 1948 when Britain turned the area into what is now Israel? The new state evicted the Palestinians who lived there to make room for immigrating Jews--that's downright wrong. WAR is primarily Israel's policy towards neighboring Arab countries...And dude, Ahmadinejad's statement was poorly translated from Farsi, as many have argued. It was an easily exploitable statement for the Zionists, and one they surely capitalized on. Indeed there is no denying he does not like Israel, but putting word into ones mouth to cause strong reactions is extremely underhanded.

You can bring that to the UN. They formulated the partition plan LOL.

I do not agree that war is Israel's policy toward it's Arab neighbors. It was the Arabs who delivered the first blow shortly after Israel declared it's independence.

True, but it was thousands of years ago. Now is a different story. The Israeli's successfully pulled one on an Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1981. There's a possibility they could pull another one, this time on Iran.

but they have won against Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and whole bunch of Arab countries (backed by USSR), who had numerical superiority over them in 4 wars. The IDF is hardly a pushover. But if it did start a war with Iran, though I'm sure with Israel's intelligence and military it will accomplish its objectives, it would be seen as unjustified by a lot of people.

My point is not that Israel should exist or not. The Partition gave a majority of the land (56% of Palestine) to the Jews (which legally owned 7% prior to the partition)--It is understandable why the Arabs have this resentment. You couple that with the 'use of force' by the Israelis to evict and displace the Palestinian Arabs...the occupation of Golan Heights and West Bank ain't helping either.

What I'm pointing out is that it has other options to settle its neighbors, not just war. Not every Arab nations is hellbent on destroying Israel, look at Jordan and Egypt. It's not impossible for Israel to sue for peace with Iran.
