i recently came from my adventure in baras, rizal and it was abosulutely worth the effort. i had the chance to get my first formal lesson in FMA through Sikaran and Arnis by the Banaag family. i am so amazed by the kind of discipline and humility that the Sikaranistas displayed, not only in training but even outside. wala juy pahambugay or any other b...s.... They were so good at what they do, specially their Biakid... pastilan kng makaigo. it was really an experience nga dili jud nako makalimtan... im looking forward for my second visit this may.

I saw a video clip brought in by a friend of mine and showed me 2 things that I really scratching my head. A video clip with a Muay Thai practitioner holding up 2 sticks doing sinawali drills and combinations of leg sweeps and knee strikes. Kinsay nakakita ninyo ani nga video clip - very interesting -. I wonder pila ka tuig ning practitioner nagpractice combining kickboxing and eskrima. Any thoughts?

that is not eskrima sinyalan... that is krabi krabong. a native thai art, a predecessor of muay thai.
