Financial capacity, investing in gouldians would entail a lot of money (cost to purchase) and how about its maintenance the breeder might have to purchase special seeds, egg foods, special cages, etc. 3. Patience, unlike other finches this specie does not breed at a prolific rate, 4. Research and ask for advise, buy/borrow books, join groups, visit aviaries ask the breeders questions these are the fundamentals of becoming a successful breeder.
