Again sir. Duna na agreement ang bank (BPI/Robinsons Bank) og TP. Mao na ang cliche reason sa mga companies nga dili maka on time og sweldo. Bank dayon ang pasangil nga sayop. Now if gi dungan man gali og hatag sa TP ang payroll on time sa BPI and Robinsons Bank no reason nga dili ma release ang pay sa mga employees ontime. Ani ra ka simple sir. If on time man gali pag hatag sa TP ang payroll on both banks perhaps the other bank account of TP is not sufficient. (mao ni sya ang common problem sa company kay wala pa ma clear ang check nga gi deposit o wala pa pondo) so dili jud ma release ang pay sa mga employees. So sometimes mo ask mo sa bank unsa ang problem they will not disclose because of this RA 1405.
you are right...my first job wasn't in a call center..It was a private company where we all work in the same office/floor so mag kita2x ra mi tanan and mag istorya. sometimes our pay gets delayed because our payroll master did not submit the payroll on time or did not deposit the cheque on time and we know because we are on the same office/floor.

I can't blame you if you believed they chose the Manila people to be promoted in behalf of Cebuanos as slap on your face, that's not a slap on your face, sooner or later, there will be somebody who will be promoted from your batches. Have you considered the situation of your account for you to say that promoting an agent from Waves of AWOL agents would do good when promoted as a supervisor? if they will promote you as a supervisor, would you be able to explain to your agents the reason why the company cant change their payroll scheme right there and then just because a lot of employees rant about it? So I want to put yourself on their shoes now and tell me how you will explain the situation to your employees for them not to be demotivated.
It is possible that since a lot of your wavemates went on AWOL, that could have created an impression that hey, I cant trust this people to run my business. I didn't say that they can trust the Manila people too.
Again, in your account's current situation. Do you think promoting somebody from your batches would do better than the current situation?
Again, if you believe you could have delivered the message better than your Boss "I", how are you going to do it knowing that you cant change the payroll scheme right away. And do you think what he said didn't make any sense?
Again, if you have a 16K basic in a month with 2 cut off. You would probably get 6k per cut off as the highest if you're single without dependents.
I know you're not new to this industry. I expect you to understand better than anybody. I expect you to have done the calculation long before you realize that your pay is not enough for you.
HR would not be as detailed as they can be in explaining if you're not gonna ask them to do so. There's no such thing as stupid question? So why not ask till you get what you needed?
I am with AT&T from a different company. I know they pay by HOURS WORKED before, they just recently changed to per minute. We were even shocked because we were given enough time to prepare our Operations. Of course you cant do anything about it because its the client's decision. BS? I challenge you. Put yourself on their shoe,how are you going to answer rants on your situation now? Considering your position,what the management can and cant do...How are you going to explain it to your people if you're smartass enough than my B.S challenge?
Naa jud agreement ni siya. What I remember is every 5th ug 20th ang sweldo diha sa TP. Pero ang cut off to process what needs to be paid on November 5th is katong October 25 pa. So I dont thinks there's a reason for TP to be late in submitting it.
By the way, how would you define LATE ba? Was it indicated on the contract nga you will receive your pay at exactly 12:01AM of every 5th or 20th? I believe 3PM of November 5 is still November 5?
I have to correct you on them not trusting Cebuanos because they trusted me before. I have to put emphasis on the "RIGHT TIME" to promote people. If somebody can do what the Manila people can do when it comes to product knowledge and managing, why not dba?We also have to consider nga katong taga Manila have established their credibility when they were still working in Manila (this is on TP management's perspective) Isa pud ka factor siguro why they dont trust you "YET" because they are not seeing anything good yet from the externally hired Cebuanos na supervisors right?Possible diba?
So I think the issue here is not really to generalize TP because I believe they are not generalizing Cebuanos too.
You know what's difficult being a boss? Because no matter how hard you work for and no matter how good you are, if the company's owner doesn't want to change the payroll scheme, you cant do anything about it but to do your job. That includes sugar-coating as others say or making sure your employees understand. Again, that doesn't mean TP doesnt care for their employees, but it takes time to make a changes specially payroll which is the biggest expense a people business is spending with.
Again, I'm not hiding the fact that TP might have overlooked when they did a feasibility study in Cebu, but changing the payroll scheme would cost another feasibility and take time to analyze and study the business. Others might think the Ops are not doing anything. Is it fair us to judge them right away?NO.
Is it fair for you to be terminated right away if one of the Senior Managers think you cant handle your customer well in just one call? NO, and I think TP has not done that to you yet.
Same thing as, if we say the management is not doing well or not efficient though you keep asking them questions, what can you suggest then? Do you know anyway better? If you will be provided the situations (can and cant do) I indicated above, do you think you have a better way to resolve it? I'm excited to know your thoughts.
