Shane has been like this lately, considering he put Rick on his sights one time in the woods (and if you've read the comic book, you'll understand that he does become sort of spiteful against Rick and his family, he's a little jelly). You see him transform from Rick's caring buddy to this guy who's very envious and mean-spirited. They couldn't have made it both, it was kind of dire. So Shane trying to fend for his own (and being a little evil) decided to buy himself some time by "distracting" the walkers with a feast (Otis).

I didn't understand why Shane had to shoot Otis. Shane and Otis struggled for so long that they could've made it to their truck anyway. Plus, Shane was more injured than Otis, if his intention was in the right place he would've sacrifice himself and gave his bag to Otis. I think Shane has snapped and gone the dark side.

well its easy decision for shane. you just answered your own question.

shane was badly hurt. shane wouldn't make it. so he had to sacrifice Otis. if you recall, it was Otis who was dragging shane.

before shane snapped, he sacrificed himself.but Otis was such a good man and said that he wouldn't leave him.

what got me mad is that Otis rescued shane when they got out of the building. it was very disturbing for me.hihi. lost some sleep for that one.

well i think shane is the bad guy there.the zombies are just the salt to the wound so-to-speak.haha.

nice series. its been such a long time since I hated a tv series character since Theodore Bagwell.haha.

Otis wasn't gonna make it that far anyway. I'm just wondering if they ever get around to putting Tyrese in the plot. His appearance is way overdue. Lori's gonna meet her maker late in the prison-arc too.

nah they prob wont do that to Shane prob until the series finale otherwise he they could have done it season 1 palang. he's the quintessential bad guy in the series.
