Actually okay naman ang hyroquinone...Pero usually sa mga dark marks yan eh or sa mga post inflammatory hyperpigmentation...Pero you can buy it over the counter naman...Try mo muna patingin sa derma ang scar mo. kasi iba ibang klase kasi yan...May iba laser or chemical peel ang treatment...Check mo dito:

what i've been doing for my acne scars (take note, mine are shallow but dark spots, not the deep crater-like ones)

once a week: glycolic peel
once every 2 weeks: microdermabrasion/diamond peel
am: apply lightening cream (spot treatment)
pm: apply retin-a (spot treatment)
am/pm: use whitening soap, whitening moisturizer
and most importantly, use sunscreen if you're going to be exposed to the sun.

so far, this works.. but the results are not instant. it takes around 3 months time to see results.

i personally steer clear from products with hydroquinone.

I would like to share interesting facts about hydroquinone. This product has been banned in the European Union since 2001, base on scientific researches the ingredient is carcinogenic and could provide liver damage with long term use.
