Forex is different from the Stock market although somehow they have their similarities since Foreign Exchange is an important part of the Stock Market. Forex is more liquid than Stocks, its open 24 hours while Stock markets have definite time frames and working days. Another reason is it can be readily converted to cash due to its flexibility to be interchanged to other currencies or back to its original Philippine Peso form any time of the day as the need arise.
