are you trying to say instead of owning up to our flaws and shortcomings and correcting it
we look at other people's or nationality's negative traits and not do something about it

you can't have a good nation if the people in the nation are low standard of upbringing sa usa ka pamilya. so meaning it start with a family nga taas kaayo ug standard aron ang sunod na generation taas na ang standard.

low standard sa pagpadako sa anak example:

mama: imong kinamanghuran nga anak gisumbag iyang classmate.
papa: pasagdi na kay part na sa growing up
anak: [nakadungog sa daplin]...ingon ana diay ang mga grown up makigsinumbagay.

mama: nangubit nasad imong anak nako.
papa: imo untang gikasab.an, ayaw lang panapat.
anak: [nakadungog nasad] ...mild nga sala ra diay ang mangubit.

mama: imong anak nakapamabdos.
papa: unsaon na mana? naa na mana.
anak: [nakadungog gihapon] ...luwason man gihapon ko nila, tanawa lang.

Can we expect children to be guided and disciplined by parents who are struggling to make ends meet? With so many 'bad' influences around, how can discipline be instilled?

Come to think of it, even here at istorya.net, people can't even follow basic rules on posting - and we can assume that people here are on the 'higher' level compared to others who don't even have access to phones or electricity.

We really need a good leader who can see all these and act accordingly...

I suggest we start doing something about it , for starters think of something that can solve most of the bad things brought up in this post instead of talking about it.
